Das Vernetzungsprojekt Paradigmenwechsel zielt darauf, Wissenschaftler:innen im Feld der sozialpolitikbezogenen Migrationsforschung international zu vernetzen und unterstützt den Paradigmenwechsel Deutschlands hin zur Einwanderungsgesellschaft. Das Vernetzungsprojekt beteiligt sich an den Vorbereitungen zur internationalen Metropolis-Konferenz im September 2022 in Berlin (IMCB22). Dazu bearbeitet es die Themenschwerpunkte „Auswirkungen von technologischen und klimatischen Veränderungen auf Migration“ durch einen Pre-Conference-Prozess vor. Das Vernetzungsprojekt trägt so zur internationalen Sichtbarkeit Deutschlands im Bereich zukunftsorientierte interdisziplinäre Sozialpolitikforschung bei. Die in diesem Prozess gebündelten Kontakte und Arbeitsinhalte fließen in die Konferenz und in einen Verstetigungsprozess ein. Die Arbeitsergebnisse fließen in die weitere Etablierung von FIS und DIFIS ein und befördern dessen Rolle als Katalysator für die gesamte Sozialpolitik-Community. Das VNP integriert Kolleg:innen, die bereits zu sozialpolitischen Fragen arbeiten und gibt Denkanstöße für zukünftig relevante Forschungsfragen, vernetzt international. Es benutzt innovative Transferformate und achtet besonders auf eine lebendige Verbindung mit der Berlin-Brandenburgischen Wissenslandschaft, inklusive Weiterbildungsträgern. Das Vernetzungsprojekt publiziert policy Briefs, special issues und einen Sammelband.

The networking project (=VNP) Paradigm Shift aims at networking scholars in the field of social policyrelated migration research internationally and supports Germany's paradigm shift towards an immigration society. The networking project is involved in the preparations for the International Metropolitan Conference in Berlin in September 2022 (IMCB22). To this end, it is preparing the thematic focus "Impact of technological and climatic changes on migration" through a pre-conference process. The networking project thus contributes to Germany's international visibility in the field of future-oriented interdisciplinary social policy research. The contacts and work content bundled in this process contribute to the conference and initiate a long-term collaboration. The results of the work become part of the further establishment of FIS and DIFIS and promote its role as a catalyst for the entire social policy community. The VNP integrates colleagues who are already working on social policy issues and provides food for thought for future relevant research questions, for networking internationally. It uses innovative transfer formats and pays particular attention to a lively connection with the Berlin-Brandenburg knowledge landscape, including lifelong learning. The networking project publishes policy briefs, special issues and an anthology.
